The Spyderco Sage3 Bolt Action is a solid army knife with a very strong lock. The Sage3 is equipped with a bolt-action lock. This system is developed by Blackie Collins and consists of a sturdy pin with a spring that falls into the opening behind the hinge.

The blade of the Sage3 is made of CPM S30V steel and is full-flat-ground. The handle is made of carbon and G10. The back of the handle is completely closed and this gives the knife a very tight look.
